When Jude was younger, he had a multi-visceral (5-organ) transplant. Sadly, earlier this year, the organs failed, and things are very difficult.

One thing that helped Jude through months in the hospital was watching musicals online. He loves them and has made a bucket list of ones he wants to see.

Update 10th of July

Thank you to the musical theatre community for the amazing response! We had kind offers of ticket and even some offers to meet the cast! People also kindly donated so we’ve been able to purchase tickets to other shows and Jude has been able to treat himself to some merch and programmes. We used the donations to buy tickets to see Newsies and Jude fell in love with the character Sven at Frozen and wanted the cuddly toy of him.

Thank you all so much! You don’t realise just how much this gives Jude in terms of therapy in itself! He is so very anxious after the huge trauma that he has gone through and this allows him to immerse himself into stories with music. Even at 13 he is able to truly embrace the magic.

For Valentine’s Day we sent all our families these lovely Lego sets. We purchased them at a discounted rate via In Kind Direct.

Connor loved the hidden message inside

At Easter we were able to send 4 of the matching Easter Lego kits to 4 Pals. Again, Connors favourite part was the hidden carrot design.

Jackson’s family kindly held an end of treatment fundraising party for us and we’ve spent the money on Lego for the summer holidays!

We took 40 families Glamping in 2022 but there were some hiccoughs at the resort. As a result, the families who are able have been invited back for a complimentary stay. 

Last weekend, two families returned during Mardi Gras season and had lots of fun!
