Summer 2021 marked a year since Post Pals children had started shielding due to Covid-19. It had been such a difficult year and the children weren’t able to go out and about like everyone else when lockdown ended. We decided to launch a summer smiles project where each child could pick a smile of their choice.

Jackson’s Mum thought it would be amazing to have every child’s dream come true, a shopping spree in a toy store! Smyths Toystore kindly opened early so Jackson and Ava could have the whole store to themselves, they both felt like a VIP and it was very safe covid wise too. Post Pals gave both of them £100 each and Smyths kindly added some extra money too
