NovWhen Kai’s wish came true
Kai is a big fan of Keith Lemon (comedian Leigh Francis) and his wish was to meet him. As Kai has had a very tough year with a huge amount of pain from his brain tumour, here at Post Pals we were delighted to be able to grant this wish – with some help from a few friends! Kai was invited to meet Leigh and watch an episode of ITV2’s Celebrity Juice be recorded.
Kai’s mum recalls this amazing trip:
Kai went up to the studios to meet Keith Lemon (Leigh Francis), Holly Willoughby and Gino D’Acampo. We then stayed and watched the show being filmed [it aired 5th November, 2015]. Other guests on the show were the iconic Jerry Springer, TOWIE’s Jess Wright, The Wanted’s Nathan Sykes and sports commentator Chris Kamara. To say it was hilarious is an understatement, we didn’t stop laughing the whole night! Kai was in low pain for most of it and it was so lovely to see him happy and smiling and laughing. A huge round of applause for the medic who was there for us all evening, he was a first class guy!
A huge thank you to Fearne, Sarah, everyone at Celebrity Juice and of course Leigh for making Kai’s wish come true.
