JanBrooke is moving on from Post Pals. Her mum made this lovely post:
“The time has come for Brooke to move on, as she is now 18 and taking the first steps into adulthood. 🫶
I would like to take the time to thank every single person who has sent a card, message, or gift. It truly has been amazing how much love is shared between strangers, and there is not enough thanks in the world 🌍
I also have to say a massive thank you to Post Pals, who have provided Brooke with so many different experiences, gifts, balloons, and so much more over the years. Such an amazing team of people who just want to make people smile (Post Pals – Making Seriously Ill Children Smile), truly appreciated by so many xx
And finally, thank you all for watching my brave girl do life. A life where she has so many struggles through Cystic Fibrosis, Nephrocalcinosis, and even mental health issues due to dealing with her conditions. Although she will still have to fight, as her conditions are so unpredictable, I am blessed at how strong she is and how she never gives in. She truly is an inspiration to many, including me. And as you can see from the latest photos and video from last weekend, she is giving it her all, and I know every one of you is as proud of her as I am 🫶🥹😍
So a big thank you from us to you, and please know these little gestures mean the world to these children and young people 🤩😍 xx
Please share far and wide and spread the word about this amazing charity xx”
