SepPost Pals Memorial Weekend is booked, and now the challenge of fundraising begins!
Ryoo’s family and friends have very kindly organised a big fundraiser, which has given us an amazing start.
We held our very first Memorial Weekend in 2024. Rather than remembering only the children who had passed away in the previous two years, as many charities do, we wanted to bring together ALL of our Memorial Families.
It was such a special weekend. On the Saturday, some families headed to Adventure Island on the seafront for some fun at the theme park. In the evening, we had a formal dinner where families could chat, spend time together and take part in various activities, including filling a jar with petals for their child.
On Sunday, we all had lunch together at a restaurant by the beach before heading down to the sea to release the petals.
We’re hoping to do something very similar again this year, but we need your help to make it happen.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help us bring these families together again.
And there’s an extra special incentive for anyone who manages to raise £500. We’ll let you know which family you have sponsored, and that family will receive a printed poster telling them who helped to make their Memorial Weekend possible.
We have launched a Justgiving campaign here
