We found out prenatally that Connie has an extremely rare condition that her late sister had called Mitchel Riley syndrome, at birth she also suffered a huge brain injury resulting in HIE. Connie is TPN dependent due to intestinal failure, type 1 diabetic and has liver disease. Due to the HIE Connie has quadriplegic cerebral palsy, dystonia and severe visual impairment.
